Executive – Business Development

Job Description: Business Development Executive

Industry: Intermediate / API Chemical Manufacturing
Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new domestic and international business opportunities for
intermediates and API products.
2. Generate leads through market research, emails, calls, exhibitions, and online
platforms.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
4. Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical, QA, and production
teams to provide suitable solutions.
5. Prepare and share product details, quotations, COAs, MSDS, and technical documents
with customers.
6. Follow up on enquiries, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
7. Coordinate with internal departments (production, QA, logistics, accounts) for order
execution and timely dispatch.
8. Track order status, customer feedback, and post-sales support to ensure customer
satisfaction.
9. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
10. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain customer data records.
11. Support business expansion initiatives and contribute to company growth.
Qualification & Experience:
1. Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA (Marketing, Chemistry, or related field preferred).
2. 1–3 years of experience or Freshers both can apply in business development or sales (chemical, pharma, or
manufacturing industry preferred).
Skills Required:
1. Strong communication and negotiation skills
2. Knowledge of chemical intermediates / APIs market (preferred)
3. Customer handling and relationship management skills
4. Ability to understand technical products and customer requirements
5. Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication.
6. Result-oriented and proactive approach
Salary Package:
1. Depending on experience and interview performance
